- [KidsLife](https://coosadabaptist.org/kids/): Here at Coosada we always want to ensure that we are doing all we can to keep our children in the Pond as safe as possible.  KidCheck is a great tool to help us in that process. All parents, grandparents, guardians or volunteers who drop off or pick up children must have a KidCheck account to access the area. Click on the "Sign Up" button below to set-up a free KidCheck account. One parent may list the child(ren) and anyone allowed to drop off or pick up their child. The other parent only needs an account that enables them to be able to check the child(ren) in and out. All children in the area must be signed in before they can be left in the children's area. ## Staff
- [Dr. Jim Graham](https://coosadabaptist.org/staff/dr-jim-graham/): Jim was called to lead our church as pastor in December of 2002.  During his tenure our church has experienced an explosion in growth.  We are thankful for his leadership, his care for us, and his stirring sermons.  Dr. Graham has been serving in the ministry since 1986.  He has been married to Pearleen Mercer of Wetumpka since 1990 and they have four lovely children.  Dr. Graham graduated from Samford University with a degree in education, received his masters from New Orleans Baptist Seminary specializing in New Testament Biblical Studies, and his doctorate from Southwest Seminary in Biblical Counseling.
- [Darrell Jennings](https://coosadabaptist.org/staff/darrell-jennings/): Darrell Jennings has been the Worship Leader at Coosada Baptist since May 2004.  He is a 1994 graduate of UAB and has been serving in church ministry since 1989.  Darrell is married and has three beautiful daughters.  Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through music is one of the passions of Darrell's life. "It is my desire to help others use their gifts and talents to lead others in worship.  Music allows us to communicate our deep love for our risen Savior and draws us into His presence."
- [Mark Wilson](https://coosadabaptist.org/staff/mark-wilson/): Mark is a native of New Orleans, LA.  He received his BA from Louisiana College in 1995 with a focus on Media Communications and Religious Education.  He began serving in Student Ministry in 1988. Mark came to Coosada Baptist Church in 2012 as the Student Minister. In 2017 he became the Christian Education and Administration Minister. Mark is married to Michele and they have two children – Meagan Warlick (married to Tripper) and Tyler.
- [Jon LaMarque](https://coosadabaptist.org/staff/jon-lamarque/): Jon was baptized and ordained at Coosada Baptist Church but joined the staff as student pastor in September 2023. Before coming home to Coosada, Jon served as student pastor at First Baptist Haleyville. Jon went to college at the University of Alabama, earned a MDiv from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and completed a doctorate from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jon’s heart is to see students know and follow Jesus.
- [Marsha Blankinchip](https://coosadabaptist.org/staff/marsha-blankinchip/): We are so thankful for Marsha’s leadership in our children’s ministry. She has been faithfully serving on our staff for over a year and a half, bringing together her love for children, her passion for Jesus, and her background as an experienced school teacher. Marsha is gifted in both teaching and training, and she leads our kids and volunteers with great joy and care.
- [Joby Cheesman](https://coosadabaptist.org/staff/joby-cheesman/): Joby began serving as the Minister of Senior Adults, affectionately known asthe Pace Setters, in 2025. He joined our staff after completing 45 years of militaryand civil service for the United States Air Force. He graduated from AlabamaState University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Policy & Law. He ismarried to Sandee and have 4 children.Joby has been at CBC since 2014 and has been involved serving in numerousways. He graduated from Bible Training Centre for Pastors (BTCP), a 2 ½ yearprogram, drives golf carts for Sunday services, teaches BTCP classes for CBC,teaches in his small group, and was elected and ordained as a Deacon.Joby’s love for teaching and education has led him to Guatemala for five missiontrips to teach BTCP classes for pastors and church leaders. In 2024, 18 pastors andchurch leaders graduated from BTCP and they are currently spreading the BTCPcourses throughout Guatemala, Honduras, and Belize.Joby is extremely honored and privileged to be working with the Pace SettingSenior Adults of Coosada Baptist Church.

Ellen combines a deep love for kids with an incredible gift for organization, creating a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered environment for our youngest ones. She embodies our heart for ministry: we are not just changing diapers, we’re changing lives. Through her leadership, little ones are learning early what it means to know and love Jesus.
- [Rodney Culpepper](https://coosadabaptist.org/staff/rodney-culpepper/): Rodney’s first connection to Coosada was attending youth rallies here as a teenager. He graduated from the University of Montevallo with a degree in Counseling and received his masters from New Orleans Seminary. Rodney has been in the ministry since 1984 and served as a pastor for over 20 years. Rodney is married to Robyn, and together, they have six children – Adam, Kristi, Zac, Marc, Kayte, and Luke.

Coosada Baptist Church (CBC) is a Baptist church in Coosada, Alabama. Our mission is to help others to find and follow Jesus. We gather for worship on Sunday mornings and for Bible study on Wednesday evenings, and we run ministries for preschoolers, children, students, college students and young adults, and senior adults.
