Joby began serving as the Minister of Senior Adults, affectionately known as
the Pace Setters, in 2025. He joined our staff after completing 45 years of military
and civil service for the United States Air Force. He graduated from Alabama
State University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Policy & Law. He is
married to Sandee and have 4 children.
Joby has been at CBC since 2014 and has been involved serving in numerous
ways. He graduated from Bible Training Centre for Pastors (BTCP), a 2 ½ year
program, drives golf carts for Sunday services, teaches BTCP classes for CBC,
teaches in his small group, and was elected and ordained as a Deacon.
Joby’s love for teaching and education has led him to Guatemala for five mission
trips to teach BTCP classes for pastors and church leaders. In 2024, 18 pastors and
church leaders graduated from BTCP and they are currently spreading the BTCP
courses throughout Guatemala, Honduras, and Belize.
Joby is extremely honored and privileged to be working with the Pace Setting
Senior Adults of Coosada Baptist Church.
