Jon was baptized and ordained at Coosada Baptist Church but joined the staff as student pastor in September 2023. Before coming home to Coosada, Jon served as student pastor at First Baptist Haleyville for 11 years. Jon went to college at the University of Alabama, earned a MDiv from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and completed a doctorate from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jon’s heart is to see students know and follow Jesus.
